STAFF REPORT
Monday, Nov. 24, 2025 — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and Nelson County Fire were dispatched Sunday afternoon at 1:03 p.m. to Burba Road for the report of a body located not far from the side of the roadway.
The discovery was near the intersection of Burba Road and Loretto Road, KY 49.
According to eyewitnesses, the Kentucky State Police and the Nelson County Coroner’s Office also responded to the scene. KSP are investigating the incident.
So far, authorities have not released any information regarding the incident. Unconfirmed initial reports indicate the body was of a woman.
