Alpha Barnard Davidson, 83, of Bardstown and Venice Isle, Fla., died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at Bardstown Health And Rehab Center in Bardstown.
She was born April 24, 1942, in Nelson County to the late Walter Barnard and Nora Holt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jason Diehlman and John Diehlman; and many brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Barry Davidson; one sister, Peggy Harris; and the staff of nurses and caregivers at Bardstown Health and Rehab, with a special thanks to Libby.
During her lifetime she was a loving mother.
She was also a model for Glamour Magazine. After her son died in 2000 as the result of a head-on collision with a drunk driver, she became a keynote speaker for DUI corrections and MADD.
There will be a private memorial service with interment at Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.
