Obituary: Barbara Ann Primm, 72, Bloomfield

Barbara Ann Primm, 72, of Bloomfield, died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by God’s everlasting love.

She was born July 24, 1953, in Louisville. to the late Henry Primm and Louise Barnett. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family deeply and found her greatest joy in spending time with them — cheering them on, sharing her wisdom, and showing them what it means to love unconditionally.

She lived each day as a reflection of her faith, believing that God’s love should be shared through kindness, grace, and compassion. Even through life’s trials, she held fast to God’s promises and placed her hope in Jesus Christ alone. Her quiet strength, unwavering faith, and gentle heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Barbara’s family finds comfort in knowing she rests in the presence of her Savior, joyfully reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love, faith, and example will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched. She has exchanged her pain for peace and her faith for sight, resting now in the arms of her Savior.

She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion — one that will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren. Her gentle heart and unwavering belief in God touched countless lives, and her example will guide her family for generations to come.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louise Primm; two sisters, Brenda “Kathy” Goff and Mary Lou Coulter; and two brothers, Jackie Lee and Danny Primm.

She is survived by one daughter, Leigh Stump (Randy); one son, Michael Primm (Lisa); four grandchildren, Leighton Chesser (Allie), Blayne Primm, Presley Primm, and Easton Primm; two great-grandchildren, Boomer and Peyton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is noon Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield with Pastor Mavis Bennett officiating.

Visitation is noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to the National Kidney Foundation.

Pallbearers will be Lorenzo Conner, Greg Crutcher, Kyler Wright Bill Coulter Jr. Chris Coulter and Sean Buynak.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
