Carolyn Marie Filiatreau Crepps, 86, of Cox’s Creek, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at Little Sisters St. Joseph’s Home. She was born July 13, 1939, in Bardstown to the late George Edward and Mary Therese Mudd Filiatreau.

She was a former Certified Nursing Assistant and was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church. She always had a devotion to the Blessed Mother and spent her life sharing her faith with those around her. She was very blessed to live with the Little Sisters at St. Joseph’s Home for the last 24 years where they took miraculous care of her, including her sister, Jeanette Stephens, who worked at the home. It will never be quite the same without her flare for life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sisters, Elizabeth Rose Mayer; and three brothers, Tom Filiatreau, George Filiatreau and Deacon Sam Filiatreau,.
She is survived by James E. Crepps; three daughters, Maria (Ronnie) Voils, Georgette (Tom) Adams, and Christy (Kenneth) Christian; six sons, Jim (Inez) Crepps, Woodie (Pamela) Crepps, Ty (Karen) Crepps, Sandy (Missy) Crepps, Jude (Rhonda) Crepps, and Joe (Chasity) Crepps; five sisters, Joyce Edelen, Sue Smith, Alice (Jim) Pigram) Ann (Sam) Riley and Jeanette (David) Stephens; three brothers, Charlie (Paula) Filiatreau, N.A. (Jeannie) Filiatreau and Jack (Debra) Filiatreau; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at St. Michael The Archangel Church with the Rev. Quan Nguyen officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Little Sisters St. Joseph’s Home.
