Cheryl Karcher “Cheri” McGuire, 74, of Boston, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at U of L Health – Jewish Hospital. She was born March 11, 1951, in Louisville. She was a parishioner of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Karcher; her mother and stepfather, Betty Stauble Frank and Charles Frank; and one sister, Denise (Glen) Yadon.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Patrick McGuire; two sons, Michael McGuire (Morgan) and Nicholas McGuire; one granddaughter, Charlotte McGuire; and her best friend and caregiver, Charity Cooper.
The Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Adam Carrico officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at Trowbridge Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Benedict Catholic Church Bereavement Fund.
The Trowbridge Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction has been entrusted with the arrangements.
