Cory Scott Cummings, 32, of Fairfield, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at his home. He was born Dec. 17, 1992, in Elizabethtown to Ina Louise Jackson and Timothy Scott Cummings.
He was a mechanic for Tim Cummings Diesel and Automotive Repair. He loved fishing and helping anyone that needed it.
He is survived by one daughter, Calleigh Marie; his mother and stepfather, Ina (Troy) Gardner of Bloomfield; his father, Tim Cummings of Fairfield; eight siblings, Linda (Jason) Mink of Shepherdsville, Kristen Cummings of Elizabethtown, Rachel Cummings of Bardstown, Jesse Cummings and Ashley Cummings, both of Fairfield, Jacob Carmicle and Georgia Carmicle, both of Bloomfield and Casey Cummings of Louisville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Cremation will follow the services.
The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
