Jimmie Dale Rogers, 73, of Glasgow, formerly of Spencer County, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at his home. He was born Dec. 30, 1951, in Spencer County to the late Leo and Viola Washburn Rogers.
He was a retired electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved riding around the countryside.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carol Clements Rogers; and one brother, David Rogers.
He is survived by two sons, Michael (Kathy) Rogers of Mount Eden and Dereck (Beth) Rogers of Glasgow; two sisters, Glenna Mae Grider and Betty Jean Rogers, both of Taylorsville; and three grandchildren, Cody (Sarah) Rogers, Taylor Rogers and Collin Rogers.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville with Bro. Kevin Flannagin officiating. Burial is in Valley Cemetery.
Visitation is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at the funeral home.
The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
