Jimmy Lee Vittitow, 72, of New Haven, died Sunday, May 11, 2025, at his home in New Haven.

He was born Oct. 27, 1952, in Bardstown to the late, Willie Houston and Juanita June Watson Vittitow. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Vittitow.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Vittitow of New Haven and Julia (Drew) Mattingly of Boston; he will be missed by one son, Josh (Jessica) Vittitow of Boston;
one sister, Sandy Bailey of Bardstown; two brothers, Jeff (Susie) Vittitow of Bardstown and Joe (Debbie) Vittitow of Wichita,Kan.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel with Bro. Ray Johnson officiating. Burial is in the St. Catherine Catholic Church Cemetery, with full military honors by Marion County Honor Guard.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel.
