Larry Bryan, 75, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, died at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 6, 1950, in New Haven to the late Bernard Leslie Bryan and Della Mae Hagan Bryan.
He retired as a Water Treatment Plant Supervisor for the City of Bardstown. He was a fanatic about keeping his vehicles clean. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and his greatest joy in life was his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Bryan.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Sue Shaw Bryan; two sons, Scott (Lea) Bryan of Jacksonville, NC. and Jason (Leeann) Bryan of Bardstown; two sisters, Sandy Sallee of Elizabethtown and Barbara (Doug) Miles of New Haven; seven brothers, Harold (Debbie) Bryan of Bloomfield, Bernard Bryan Jr., Ricky Bryan (Stephanie Fenwick), David (Marsha) Bryan, Bobby Bryan, Ronnie (Celie) Bryan and Donnie Bryan; one granddaughter, Sarah Bryan of Jacksonville, NC; two grandsons, Carter Bryan and Sawyer Bryan at home; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Randall Hubbard officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bread For Life Community Food Pantry.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
