Lois Ann Wimsatt Leake, 63, of Cox’s Creek, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at her home. She was born in Marion County on Sept. 18, 1962. She loved gardening, quilting, scenic painting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. She worked for 26 years at Geoghegan and Associates and loved helping clients settle estates.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Carl Wimsatt; one nephew, Michael Wayne Wimsatt; and mother-in-law, Kitty Leake.
She is survived by her husband, Glen “Boss” Leake of Cox’s Creek; one daughter, April (Seth) Tepe of Florence; her mother, Lavon Taylor Wimsatt of Fredericktown; two sisters, Carlotta (Bobby) Cambron of Springfield and Sherry (David) Brady of Calvary; two brothers, Charles Wayne (Jacky) Wimsatt and Christopher Lynn (Lisa) Wimsatt, both of Springfield; seven sisters-in-law, Linda (Albertus) Smith, Cheryl (David) Downs, and Martha Leake, all of Bardstown, Rhonda Mattingly of New Haven, Anita (Dewayne) Smith of Culvertown, Seka (Donald) Auberry of Indiana and Cheryl (David) Downs of Bardstown; three brothers-in-law, Steve (Sandy) Leake and Tim (Barbara) Leake, both of Bardstown, Keith (Debbie) Leake of Indiana; two grandchildren, Lily Tepe and Lincoln Tepe, both of Florence; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Augustine Judd officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Barlow Funeral Home with a 7:30 p.m. Wednesday prayer service.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
