Ralph Wayne Brindley, 78, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at UofL South Hospital in Shepherdsville. He was a beloved figure in his community and a devoted family man. He was born Sept. 18, 1947, in Paducah. He lived a life full of passion for both his family and his interests.

He enjoyed a long and fulfilling career, retiring from Publishers Printing. His professional contributions were complemented by a rich personal life that reflected his love for the great outdoors. He found immense joy in the tranquility of nature, often spending relaxing days fishing. An enthusiastic cook, he took great pleasure in preparing meals, always keen to share his insights and suggestions, ensuring that every gathering was flavored with his unique touch.
His home was made complete by the companionship of his beloved dog, Ash, who brought him much comfort and joy through the years. He was also an avid gun collector, showcasing his keen interest in the history and craftsmanship of firearms.
He was a proud veteran who served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps, exemplifying a dedication to service that he carried throughout his life. His military background instilled in him a sense of discipline and respect that radiated in his interactions with everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Brindley; and his parents, Iva Martin and Ralph Brindley.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Melissa Galvin (Chris); one son, Tryson Brindley (Rachele Long); his siblings, Melinda Brindley, Debbie Warden, Carol Hampton, and Tony Brindley (Vickie); and four grandchildren, Gavin Davis, Jayden Furjes, Gracie Galvin, and Ellie Milton.
