Roderick Brian Connor, 65, of New Haven, died Friday, May 9, 2025, at his home.
He was a proud veteran who honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force before retiring from the National Guard. He worked for Amazon several years. Beyond his professional life, he was a proud Irishman and an avid horseman, a passion that allowed him to experience the great outdoors he so loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Hugh Connor and Evelyn Connor; one daughter, Carla; and a wife, Brenda Dorris-Connor .
He is survived by his wife, Katrina Connor; five daughters, Erin Marie McNeely, Kat Hallett, and Amanda Ilsley, all of Maine, Rachel Slaughter and Jessie Roberts; two stepdaughters, Michele Wilmoth and Ariel Valliant; one son, Brian of Maine; two stepsons, Shay Rossman and Shad Rossman; four sisters, Rachael Chewning (Roger), Roxane Connor (Ken), Rebecca Hoskins ( Dwayne), and Renne Duvall (Terry); two brothers, Raphael Connor (Mary) and Ruric Connor; and many loved grandchildren, extended family and friends.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2025, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home with a committal ceremony with military honors at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2025, at the funeral home.
