Earl L. Wilson, 84, of Bardstown, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at U of L Health South Hospital. He was born July 1, 1941, in Palmdale, Calif.

He was best known for his passion of collecting antique cars, and even participated in sprint car racing. He was a man who did many acts of kindness, and never knew a stranger. He was a commercial pilot, and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He was a U.S. Navy Special Forces veteran.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Wilson; and his parents, Robert and Edna Wilson.
He is survived by one daughter, Kristene Campbell; one brother, Robert Wilson; one niece, Shannon; and two nephews, Robert Jr. and Trevor.
A Celebration of Life is 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Barlow Funeral Home. Burial is 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, in Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington, Iowa.
