Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 — A popular time-honored Christmas event will soon return to downtown Bardstown when the Bardstown Baptist Church presents its Live Nativity scene on the front lawn of the church at the corner of Brashear and North Third St.

Church members and live animals will be enacting the manger scene and the birth of the baby Jesus. Visitors can then enjoy the Festival of Trees inside the church Fellowship Hall, enjoying the beautifully decorated while enjoying hot chocolate and sweets. There will be special activities for children as well.
Bring the whole family and kick off this glorious season with a reflection on the “Reason for the Season.”
The Live Nativity runs from 6-8 p.m. starting Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, and runs through Sunday evening, Dec. 21, 2025, on the front lawn of Bardstown Baptist Church.
