Paul G. ‘Pete’ Draper, Sr., 67, Bardstown
Paul G. “Pete” Draper, Sr., 67, of Bardstown, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at his home.
He was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Washington, D.C.. He was a retired employee of Salt River Electric, a member of I.B.E.W., Botland Christian Church, and an avid hunter and offshore fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. Draper and Martha Sallee; and a step-father, Robert “Bob” Sallee.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Draper of Bardstown; two sons, Paul (Sherry) Draper, Jr., of Bardstown, and Jamie (Melanie) Draper of Willisburg; one stepson, Greg (Emily) Clemens of Louisville; one stepdaughter, Carrie (Andy) Lopotosky of Traverse City, Mich.; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Sallee Jr., and David Sallee, both of Bardstown; one sister, Christine Burnham of Bardstown; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Brother Jerry Bennett will officiate.
Visitation is 12-6 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012, and 9-11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County or Botland Christian Church.
