Sheriff’s office investigates thefts from vehicles in Slate Run area

Sunday, March 04, 2012, 11 p.m. – The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated a number thefts from vehicles Sunday morning from the area of Slate Run off Bloomfield Road north of Nelson County High School. A deputy reported a number of small items had been taken from vehicles in the area overnight, and requested extra patrol for the area. The call to dispatch came in about 9:30 Sunday morning.
