City to flush water mains Friday in Henrytown, KY 245 areas

Thursday, March 8, 2012, 11:30 p.m. — The City of Bardstown will begin flushing water mains Friday, March 9, 2012, in the Henrytown area and on East John Rowan Blvd between Louisville Road and Bloomfield Road.  This may cause some discoloration of water and some trapped air in the lines.  It is suggested that you not wash any clothes during these times.  If some of this discoloration gets into your home, let your tap run for approximately 10 minutes.  If discoloration or air persists, call the City of Bardstown, 348-5947, ext 2226.
