New Hope Fire responds to garbage fire on Coon Hollow Road
Thursday, March 15, 2012, 11:30 p.m. — The New Hope Fire Department responded to the intersection of Coon Hollow Road and Moss Brown Road for a report of a pile of garbage that had been set on fire. The pile included a number of discarded tires and other refuse. Firefighters extinguished the fire and were on scene for about 30 minutes. The New Hope Fire Department had been in the same area at about 3:40 Thursday morning for another fire.
