Nelson County EMS responds to overdose near Bloomfield
Thursday, March 15, 2012, 11:50 p.m. — A 25-year-old woman was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital after an apparent intentional overdose. The caller said the woman overdosed on benadryl, and was laying unconscious in the front yard in the 100 block of Chaplin Road. EMTs said the woman told them she took prednisone and percocet, both medicines she was prescribed. EMS was dispatched about 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
