Teen-ager injured after SUV hits another vehicle, rolls over in creek
March 22, 2012, 4:10 p.m. — A 17-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when the car she was in struck another car and ran off the road and rolled over into a creek. The accident happend about 3:45 Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Templin and Ben Irvin Road. Bardstown Police, Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Fire were sent to the accident site. The SUV’s occupants were able to exit the overturned vehicle by the time first-responders arrived. The 17-year-old was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of knee and lower back pain.
