Jerry L. Jeffries, 55, Cox’s Creek
Jerry L. Jeffries, 55, of Cox’s Creek, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was a member and deacon of the Little Union Baptist Church in Fairfield. He was a 1976 graduate of Valley High School in Valley Station. He was born Aug. 20, 1956 in Louisville to the late Kenneth Leo and Doris Knott Jeffries. He retired on disability from Jeffries Construction Co. and worked for J&G Associates for 10 years and Itasca Construction for nine years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years Angela Patrice Clark Jeffries of Cox’s Creek; one son, Sam Jeffries; one daughter, Jessica Paige Jeffries, both of Cox’s Creek; four brothers, Terry Lee Jeffries and his wife Betty of Atlanta., Lloyd W. Jeffries of Atlanta, Gary Lynn Jeffries and his wife Sheryl Lynn of Brooks and Larry Allen Jeffries of Valley Station; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Little Union Baptist Church with the Rev. William Sipes officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home, 2675 E. John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, and noon-2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the church.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
