Chad Everett Thurman, 40, New Haven

Chad Everett Thurman, 40, of New Haven, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, of injuries sustained in an motorcycle accident on 31E 3 miles north of New Haven.

He was born Feb. 8, 1972, in Louisville to the late Everett Leo and Mary Nancy O’Bryan Thurman. He was employed as a flooring specialist by Lowe’s of Bardstown. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in New Hope.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Williamson.

Survivors include his fiancé, Angie Smith of New Haven; two daughters, Ashley Thurman and Katlyn Thurman, both of Louisville; seven sisters, Kathy Lee and her husband Wilbur, Karen Harris, Gail Williamson, Theresa Greenup, Veronica Lobello, all of Louisville, Darlene Williamson Winslow of Denver, Colo., and Doris Williams of Naperville, Ill; one brother, Larry Williamson and his wife Pam of Louisville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
