EMS called for teen suffering from possible alcohol poisoning

Tuesday, April 3, 2012, 2:30 a.m. — Nelson County EMS and police responded to an address on Peavler Lane about 2 a.m. Tuesday morning for a report of a 16-year-old girl was unconscious and unresponsive possibly due to alcohol poisoning. EMTs evaluated the teen and determined she was not suffering from alcohol poisoning but was very intoxicated. No treatment or transport was required.
