WILLIAM KEITH 'KEITSIE' SORRELL
William Keith “Keitsie” Sorrell, 66, of Bardstown, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born Oct. 15, 1945, in Bardstown. He was retired from Bird & Son after 33 years, a retired farmer and a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Louise Newton Sorrell; and his parents, Alvia and Beulah Sorrell.
He is survived by two daughters, Tina Louise Sorrell Leslie and Shauna Denise Sorrell. both of Bardstown; one son, Brian Keith Sorrell and his wife Wilma of Bardstown; three sisters, Katie Walker and her husband Juan of Louisville, Bobbie Sorrell of Bardstown and Christy Pepper and her husband Sam of Hodgenville; two brothers, Larry Sorrell and his wife Sharon of Louisville, and Donald Sorrell and his wife Diane of Bardstown; five grandchildren, Christopher Dale Chesser, Amanda Lynn Bellendier, Timothy Wayne Bellendier, Laureen Nicole Sorrell and Layla Sue Louise Montgomery all of Bardstown; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Lucas officiating with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contribution may go to the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
