Juveniles stopped after allegedly throwing firecrackers in parking lot

Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 11:58 p.m. — Two juveniles who were crusing the Walmart parking lot Tuesday afternoon throwing firecrackers probably thought they got away with their prank — until two Bardstown police officers caught up with them. About 4:30 Tuesday, police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot after receiving a complaint about the occupants of a blue car throwing firecrackers at other vehicles. Officers spotted a vehicle matching the description nearby and stopped it. The officers confiscated the firecrackers and let the juveniles go with a warning.
