Suicidal Bullitt County woman located by police in Cox’s Creek

Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 1:15 a.m. — A 36-year-old suicidal woman believed to have overdosed on prescription medicine was located Tuesday night in her car near the intersection of Lenore Road and Leo Spalding Lane. The woman drove from a location in Bullitt County and was being followed by Bullitt County authorities. She turned onto Deatsville Road, KY509, and then onto Lenore Road. Nelson County deputies were asked to help Bullitt County authorities and Kentucky State Police locate the woman. She was located behind a home off Lenore Road. The woman told EMTs she had taken approximately 29 1mg doses of Xanax. She was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital by Nelson County EMS for treatment.
