David A. Guss, 59, Bardstown

David A. Guss, 59, of Bardstown, died Thursday May 3, 2012, at his residence. He was born July 2, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, employed with Evans Construction Company, US Army Veteran of Vietnam, and of the Catholic Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Guss and Adeline Jankevich Guss.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Guss of Bardstown; one son, Daniel Guss and his wife Lauren of Illinois; one brother, Gary Guss and his wife Linda of Louisville; two grandchildren, Elise Guss and Emma Guss; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday May 7, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. The Rev. Dixie Kimberlin will officiate.

Visitation is 1-6 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012, and 9–11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home.
