Ernest Ray Ritchie, 70, Bardstown

Ernest Ray Ritchie, 70, of Bardstown, died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at his home. He was born Nov. 10, 1941, in Bardstown. He was retired from Salt River Electric, and was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Catherine Ritchie; two brothers, Roy Lee Ritchie II and Jack Ritchie; and one sister, Patsy Siloway.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Unseld and her husband Alan Unseld of Bardstown; two brothers, Joseph Ritchie of Bloomfield, and James Ritchie of Indiana; three sisters, Lou Mudd of Bardstown, Sandra Nix of Boston, and Catherine Crume of Bardstown; two granddaughters, Jenna Unseld and Allison Unseld; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

Visitation is 4–8 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012, and 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday at Barlow Funeral Home.
