One injured in 3-vehicle crash on US31E South’s Helsinki Hill

Saturday, May 5, 2012, 12:20 p.m. – One person was injured about 10:55 Saturday morning in a three-vehicle crash on New Haven Road’s Helsinki Hill near Ballard Lane. The Rolling Fork Fire Department and Bardstown Fire Department were called because one of the vehicles was overturned and an occupant was believed to be trapped inside. A Rolling Fork firefighter determined there was no entrapment, and the Bardstown response was canceled. Nelson County EMS transported one patient to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. One additional person involved in the crash declined transport by EMS.
