Driver taken to hopsital after two-car crash on North Third Street

Monday, May 7, 2012, 10:30 a.m. — One person suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash in front of Ezee Money Pawn in the 600 block of North Third Street. The crash involved a Chevrolet Impala and a Ford Taurus, with one of the vehicles hitting the other broadside. The Bardstown Fire Department was called to assist getting an injured person out of their vehicle. The 89-year-old driver was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of cuts, bumps and bruises. The accident happened about 10 a.m. Monday.
