Sister John Michael Ritchie, 90, Nerinx

Sister John Michael Ritchie, 90, of Nerinx, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary. She was born Nov. 14, 1921, in Bardstown. She entered religious life in 1941 and was a former primary school teacher.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at the Loretto Motherhouse Church with burial in the Motherhouse cemetery.

A wake service will be 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
