Nettie E. Culver Hagan, 75, of New Haven,  died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.

She was a Catholic by faith, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 121 in Bardstown. She was retired from Owen Illinois in Bardstown after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dillas and Norma Huntly Early; her stepfather, Jesse Gilpin; her husband, Jack Hagan; one sister, Thelma Jean Kurtz; one brother, James R. “Buddy” Earley.

She is survived by four daughters, Theresa Nalley and Annette Culver, both of New Haven; Debbie Snellen Nall and her husband Will Nall of Cox’s Creek, and Francey Cecil and her husband Chuck Cecil of Loretto; one brother, Sidney Lee Earley of Louisville; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home in Bardstown, with the Rev. Karl Lusk officiating. Burial will be in the St.Thomas Church Cemetery in Bardstown.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the funeral home. An American Legion Ladies Auxiliary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
