One injured in two-vehicle crash on snow-covered Blue Grass Parkway

Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, 4:13 p.m. — Bardstown Fire Department, city police and Nelson County EMS responded to an injury accident at mile marker 25 in the westbound lanes of the BG Parkway. A passenger car struck a commercial truck and rolled on its side; the occupant was suspended by her seatbelt. Firefighter worked to remove the woman from the vehicle. An elderly female victim was transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
