EMS, police called to reported suicide in Cardinal Hill

Sunday, May 20, 2012 3:10 p.m. — Bardstown Police, Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Coroner were called to a residence in the Cardinal Hill subdivision for a reported suicide. First responders arrived at the residence about 2:21 p.m. to find a victim who apparently died of a gunshot wound. A police department chaplain also responded to the scene. Police were on scene for about an hour.
