Bardstown Police called to food mart for group of young shoplifters

Saturday, May 26, 2012, 12:53 a.m. — Bardstown Police were called to the Five Star Food Mart on Chambers Boulevard about midnight Friday night for a report of five juvenile shoplifters inside the business. Officers responded to the store, and the parents of the juveniles were contacted. Police turned the juveniles over to their parents; the merchandise was returned, and no charges were filed against the youths. Police were on scene for about 30 minutes.
