Woman injured after boyfriend throws her from moving pickup
Sunday, May 27, 2012, 3 p.m. — A 24-year-old woman was injured early Sunday morning when she was allegedly thrown from a moving vehicle by her boyfriend. The incident happened about 2 a.m. Sunday morning near the 6600 block of Louisville Road in Cox’s Creek. The woman told EMTs her boyfriend threw her out of the pickup truck while it was traveling 20-25 mph. The woman suffered cuts and scrapes and other possible injuries. Nelson County EMS transported the woman to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
