David Earl Lyvers. 50, Springfield, formerly of Bardstown

David Earl Lyvers. 50, of Springfield, formerly of Bardstown, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Springfield Nursing and Rehab in Springfield. He was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Lyvers.

Survivors include a daughter, Treca Metcalf of New Haven; his mother, Betty Dragoo of Bardstown; his father, David Russell Lyvers of Bardstown; one sister, Pam Valley of Bardstown; four brothers, Todd Lyvers of Ohio, Scotty Lyvers and Mike Lyvers, both of Bardstown, and Roger Lyvers of New Haven; and two grandchildren.

The funeral is 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial is in the St. Thomas Church cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the funeral home.

Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
