Motorcycle rider injured when vehicle pulls into his path

Wednesday, May 30, 2012, 4:10 p.m. — A 29-year-old Bardstown man operating a motorcycle was injured Wednesday about 3:40 p.m. when a vehicle pulled into his path on Spencer Mattingly Lane. Police said the man’s motorcycle hit the vehicle and the rider was ejected from his motorcycle. The man suffered cuts, scrapes and fractures of his right foot in the crash. He was transported by Nelson County EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. The man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
