EMS, police respond to reported suicide attempt on Walter Hall
Monday, June 4, 2012, 10:30 a.m. — Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were called about 6:15 a.m. Monday to the 100 block of Walter Hall Road for a reported possible suicide attempt. Arriving on the scene, police found a 26-year-old man had died of what was believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A neighbor called 911 after seeing the victim through a window. The sheriff’s office chaplain and the Nelson County Coroner responded to the scene. The sheriff’s office is investigating.
