Cox’s Station NSDAR hosting flag retirement ceremony on June 14th

Monday, June 4, 2012, 11:44 p.m. — Cox’s Station Chapter, NSDAR, will sponsor a Flag Retirement Ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012. at Bardstown United Methodist Church Second Campus, 5100 Louisville road. Participatants in this event will include the Gov. Isaac Shelby Chapter, KYSSAR Color Guard and The Kentucky Home Guard Band. This event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Please join us as we pay tribute to the American Flag and retire those flags that are no longer in service.
