Mary Jan Paddock, 80, Bardstown
Mary Jan Paddock, 80, of Bardstown, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born April 8, 1932, in Dardanelle, Ark., and was a former resident of Fort Smith, Ark. who and moved to Bardstown in 2008. She retired from Bank One in Rockford, Ill., after 15 years of service and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Albert Paddock; and her parents, Greer and Vera Blevins Sugg.
Survivors include one son, Stephen Paddock and his wife Patti Paddock of Lake Villa, Ill.; one daughter, Susan Franke and her husband Tom Franke of Bardstown; five grandchildren, Joseph Franke, Michael Franke, Ryan Paddock, Hanna Fritz and Katie Fritz; and four great-grandchildren, Maddy Kahn, Toby Paddock, Katie Hagan and Bradley Hagan.
Cremation was chosen with a memorial service to be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with Reverend David Carr officiating. Burial is in the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Arkansas.
Visitation with the family is 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Bereavement Committee.
