NCEDA president is guest host Tuesday on 1320 WBRT’s ‘Brooks & Co.’

Monday, June 18, 2012, 9 p.m. — Kim Huston, the president of the Nelson County Economic Development Agency, will be the in-studio guest on Tuesday’s edition of “Brooks & Company” airing 11 to noon on 1320 WBRT.
Huston will be discussing local economic development efforts — including the recently announced expansion at American Fuji Seal — and efforts underway to promote Bardstown and Nelson County tourism and industry.
Huston was born and raised in Bloomfield. She is a former award-winning broadcast journalist and author of “Small Town Sexy,” a book about the allure of living in a small town. As the head of the Nelson County Economic Development Agency, Huston oversees all economic development activities, including the Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Commission, Industrial Development and Main Street Development.
