Allalee LaFollette Kesler, 86

Allalee LaFollette Kesler, 86, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at University Hospital in Louisville. She was a member of the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Lyons Station, and was retired from Gamble Brothers and Cochrant Foils of Louisville after many years of service. She was born March 18, 1926, and was the daughter of the late John and Eddie Marie Carter LaFollette.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kesler; her twin brother George Allen LaFollette; three sisters, Katherine Coyle, Katie Barnes and Nellie Jackson, and a special neice, Mary Rose Dawson.

Survivors include two sons, Michael J. Kesler of Louisville and John E. Kesler of Bowling Green; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Lyons Station with is pastor, Rev. Bruce Nichols, officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, 12-1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 Main St., New Haven, is in charge of arrangements.
