George McAllister, 59, Bardstown

George McAllister, 59, of Bardstown, died Monday, June 18, 2012. He was born Oct. 22, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was an employee of Tower Automotive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry J. and Stella McAllister; and a sister, Nancy Gonzalez.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia McAllister of Bardstown; two daughters, Coleen McAllister of Chicora, Pa., and Deen Marie McAllister of Monaca, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Nellie Marie Neachum and Courtney Neachum, both of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one sister, Irish Ondick of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four brothers, Larry J. McAllister of Bethel Park, Pa., John W. McAllister of Oakdale, Pa., Thomas J. McAllister of Cranberry Township, Pa. and Patrick J. McAllister of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two grandchildren, Ashley McAllister and Nichole McAllister, both of Pennsylvania; two stepgrandchildren, Trevor Michael Neachum and Joseph Ellen Shilts, both of Michigan.

A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with the Rev. Doug Alexander officiating.
