Firefighters respond to Hagan Drive for uncontrolled controlled burn

Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, 12:14 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department is responding to the 100 block of Hagan Drive for a report of a controlled burn that is out of control. Incident commander reported the fire is behind some homes but has been contained by residents. Will wait on requesting more manpower until firefighters determine the need for manpower and equipment on the fire run on Susannah Drive. The area that burned was located behind three homes in the 100 block; the origin of the fire was not determined.
