Bardstown firefighters respond Sunday to fireworks-related fire

Sunday, July 1, 2012, 10:23 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the 100 block of Atlantic Court off Susannah Drive for a fireworks-related fire. The caller told dispatchers the fire, located outside the home near some bushes, appears to be out, but requested firefighters respond to the location. Firefighters arrived and checked to see if the fire had moved into a soffit or other parts of the home. Firefighters were on scene for about 20 minutes.
