Dominic Marquez Allen, 24, Bardstown

Dominic Marquez Allen, 24, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, after a traffic accident in Grayson County. He was a 2006 graduate of Bardstown High School, an assistant manager for Long John Silvers/A&W Restaurant, and a member of St. John’s A.M.E. Zion Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Allen, and Hubert and Dana Stewart; and an uncle, Gregory Allen.

Survivors include his sons, Cameron Allen and Jeremiah Allen, both of Bardstown; his parents, Minister Ernest Baker and Patricia Allen Baker of Bardstown; one sister, Taiyana Allen of Bardstown; one brother, Ernest Cornell Baker of Bardstown; his maternal grandmother, Estelle Allen of Bardstown; two nieces; one nephew; several aunts, uncle and cousins; and a dear friend, Ronesha Gilbert of Bardstown.

The funeral is noon Monday, July 9, 2012, at the First Baptist Church, 315 N. Second St. in Bardstown with his father, Minister Ernest Baker officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Bardstown.

The Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
