Joseph Gabriel Newkirk, infant, of Boston, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East. He was born July 8, 2012, in Louisville.

Survivors include his mother, Pamela Newkirk of Boston; his father, Christopher Schoner of Circleville, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Michael and Benita Newkirk of Boston; one uncle, Michael C. Newkirk and his wife Terrie New Kirck of New Haven; one aunt, Cheyanna Newkirk of Boston; and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Delores Miles and Betty Kahafer, all of Louisville.

A memorial service is 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.
