Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 — Two Shepherdsville men were indicted Wednesday by a Nelson Circuit grand jury for the November 18, 2010 hold-up of Advance America, 106 Kentucky Home Square.

Luke Aldon Hasty, 30, and Soloman S. Evans Jr., 33, both of Shepherdsville, were charged with first-degree robbery and complicity to first-degree robbery. The indictment says the men, either acting alone or in concert with one another, allegedly threatened to use physical force while armed with a gun in order to take money from the payday lender.

Bail for the men was set at $200,000 each, cash only with conditions.

Both men have also been interviewed by police agencies in connection with robberies inĀ Louisville, Radcliff, Elizabethtown, Mount Washington, Shepherdsville, Shively and LaGrange, as well as the Indiana communities of New Albany, Jeffersonville and Clarksville.
