Jessie Lee Riley, 87, of Bardstown
Jessie Lee Riley, 87, of Bardstown, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
He was born May 25, 1925, in Lebanon. He was a retired line supervisor for the City of Bardstown and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a master electrician and contractor, a board member of the Central Kentucky Electrical Association and a member of the Bardstown Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Virginia Morgeson Riley; 2 sons, Jeff Riley and Jerry Riley; one brother, J.C. Riley; and his parents, Hubert Lee and Ada Mae Whitehouse Riley.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Piles Riley; one daughter, Martha Mitchell and her husband Ron Mitchell of Bardstown; one son, Tommy Riley of Tampa, FLa; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two daughter-in-laws, Betty Carol Riley of Bardstown and Sara Riley of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Dylan Mays will officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, and 8:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bardstown Baptist Building Fund or Hospice of Nelson County.
